5 years later...

I wish I had been there to see that!

I wish I would have recorded it. That laugh, oh my god. He slowly gets a real character and I am scared that we mess him up.

I would have never dreamt of having my own family...5 years ago I was single, not even close to having a baby as I was seeing Jackson, but not Callie...so I was thinking a little different than I think now.

Mika watched his little family on the couch after he had calmed down a little. “If he comes after me he gets hairy on fullmoon, that’s all. But he already knows that, thanks to his wolf onesie. So it wouldn’t be a surprise for him.” He walked over to the couch and sat down in front of it, not wanting to sit between them but wanting to be close to both of them. “If he learns how to fly I need to learn how to catch a flying child. I am sure he will use it against me.”

Oh. I see. I can’t imagine having 2 people to please. I have a hard enough time with one… But I also have no idea what I’m doing, not that Jean complains.

Believe me, it is fun. I love nothing more than sharing my bed with both of them at the same time. And I am sure you know what you are doing.

Mm… Tempting. So so tempting, but  you know what I’m like… the minute he cries I’ll be right back up again.

I can take him for a long walk that way you won’t even know when he cries. And I am sure he will enjoy the fresh air and the dogs as well.

Jesus christ… It feels like it was only 2016 a week ago. What happened?!

I don’t know...time flies.

It’s hard to learn how to take care of a baby so it’s normal that he makes mistakes. But he’ll learn. And I don’t know, he just got here I’m sure he’d rather spend time with his family.

You don’t need a vampire babysitter just yet, right? I mean your little one isn’t teething yet, so you are lucky. Just give him a call when he is teething and you can ask if he would keep an eye on him at night as well. Although he might enjoy the nighttime cuddles he gets more than keeping an eye on your son, but you could always try. And yeah, he’ll learn. He will grow into it just like we all did.

The you from the past would probably be shaking his head right now.

Coffee just makes people feel bad, Mika. You have to try and find a way to sleep. There’s those little toys for when that is happening to the babies, you know?

I know about the toys, but he doesn’t calm down unless one of us hold him and talks to him, so one of us always has to get up and the crying and one person leaving wakes up everyone else. And as Callie needs her sleep as well we take turns and in the end none of us sleeps enough.

Sexiled? Oh no, what would you have done to deserve that. But definitely call me. I would love to come for a walk with you.

I had my alone time with Callie and with Jackson, now they might want alone time with each other. It happens sometimes. I’ll call you if it happens.

I did see the pic the Jackson posted and he is a cutie. I’m happy for you three, well four. And Christian having three parents is awesome. Yes Husband. Sky is amazing and I love being married to him. So I guess I love how my life has turned out.

Finally someone who doesn’t judge, I am glad. Yeah, he is a cutie, of course he is. Did you see his mum? And I am glad that you love being married. I am sure it is nice knowing that they can’t leave you without a big stack of paperwork.

I don’t know why I’m surprised. He’s always been so mild tempered, Christian. When you have some down time that wouldn’t be a bother I’d love to come give him snuggles. you best be teasing Mikes or else you are going to get a loving kick to the shin next I see you

I let you know. I have the feeling I am getting sexiled sometime soon. You can always join us for a stroll around Hazel Run then. A kick to my shin? I feel soooo scared.

Sounds like Mike might want to talk to you if he gets nervous. I don’t think it should matter what gender your child is, though.

He can always call me and talk to me, I don’t mind. And it doesn’t matter, of course it does not. But you still have a thought, even if you don’t know the gender in advance.
