I'm FurriPauze, a digital artist that has been drawing anthropomorphic Pokemon for some time now. I've also developed a passion for developing original electronic music, and while most of the artworks/music I'll be posting in the near future will be old works, I'm almost always open to chat and meet new people. Four of my five main OCs can be found in the artwork above, and I'll also be posting a few comic pages about them once I'm finished with the old works.

◈General info◈ Full name: Suzie Forth Abercrombie Gender/Pronouns: Female, She/her Sexuality: Straight Species: Pikachu Age: Nearly 20 Height: 66 inches (Excluding ears) Weight: 127 Pounds

◈Backstory/Status◈ Suzie has loved battling since a very young age and has always had a dream of becoming the champion, despite being a Pokemon herself rather then a human trainer. When she turned seven, she began taking battling lessons and worked hard to defeat the gyms. At fifteen, she achieved her dream and defeated the champion in a dual. Ever since then, she is always seen smiling towards cameras and seems to appreciate her fame. She tends to be somewhat bad at hiding her disgust towards the weird fans but does her best waving at the rest. Oddly, the Pokemon who tend to get the most attention from her are the nonchalant ones that don't seem to care. Although her fame has died down since becoming champion, she has been able to mantain her rank by battling in yearly tournaments.

At home, Suzie is just another normal college freshwoman. She has trouble building study habits and suffers somewhat with her grades. But despite her work ethic being centered around one place, she still tries to be optimistic about work and can get really apologetic if in trouble. Suzie has a mother and a younger brother named Ryan, who can be found in the link below. She did not have a father figure growing up, and thus didn't have much wealth prior to becoming champion. Her mother could still afford to send her to school and buy things a normal family would have, but they had to be wise when spending money. Most of the money they could spend went to battling lessons and gyms at that time, though this has changed since Ryan's birth.

◈Personality◈ Suzie's personality is mostly enegetic, and even somewhat flirtatious towards those as strong as her, such as the Elite four or champions from other regions. She loves attention of any kind from anyone but can usually tell when she's starting to become annoying. Though she's not immune to anger or grief, she's quick to bounce back up once the problem is dealt with. As with many famous figures, she's good at hiding her emotions from the public and recognizing fans from friends. Despite this, she doesn't mind signing an autograph once in a while and isn't really famous enough for swarming or threats to be a major problem. 

Although Suzie is mainly cheerful, she's also very social and has low self-esteem towards many aspects of her character, such as her overall intelligence and capabilities besides battling. She deeply wonders about how others view her, and how she can change for the better if viewed as negative. She can get very apologetic and embarrassed after making mistakes regardless of how big of a deal they are or who she's talking to, but will be quick to get angry if this trait is manipulated. She tends to get more frustrated at herself then others if a problem is partially her fault to any degree.

◈Random facts◈ - Suzie's earing contains an everstone inside it, which prevents her from evolving into a Raichu. She has been wearing it since the age of twelve and plans to keep wearing it until she has the chance to go on a vacation to the Alola region, where she'll "Feast on alolan pancakes" until she evolves into an Alolan Raichu. The everstone doesn't weaken her strength at all. - Suzie is technically weaker then half the Elite four in terms of strength, having only beaten them anyway though exceptional speed, reaction timing and endurance. She is currently dating the strongest member, a male Umbreon two years older then her. - Suzie's hair was shoulder-length until the age of twelve. The blue fade in her hair was dyed shortly after she became champion.

Sneasel in the snow (Artwork & Story)

It's snowing.

I step outside and stand in the freezing air. The sun peaks over the horizon, a reminder that the majority of the neighborhood is likely asleep.

The snow no longer melts from my body. If anything, it gets colder. My clothes can't get soaked from the snow, and they probably never will be again.

The door opens from behind me. Instinctively my body quickly turns, and my claws come out. But it's just my father, my human father, shivering in his Pajamas. A hint of frustration covers his face.

Ever since I gave in to the outbreak of anthropomorphic Pokemon, he's always been so worried. I had been caught in what was somewhere between a trend and an apocalypse, having chucked my former life away in the process. What he thought I would always be- His daughter- was gone.

...No, I can't think like that. I can still make rational human choices. My Sneasel mind told be to be wary of any more sudden surprises, but I try to push that aside. I tell him, "Aren't you going to get back inside? The weather isn't exactly ideal-" - - -

Amelia Blossom (Character reference)

◈Basic info◈ Full name: Amelia Blossom Age: 15 Species: Anthropomorphic female Riolu Sexuality: Bisexual Pronouns: She/her Likes: Rock music, getting stronger, battling, drawing traditional art Hates: Getting complemented or called cute, sexism, stress, ambiguous instructions

◈Personality◈ Amelia is often depicted as serious, bold, and even sarcastic at times. She is prone to anxiety without clear instructions to work off of during school, and even procrastinates if the stress builds up. She often feels intimidated when doing something competitive and hates losing, which has led to a constant refusal to battle or even train in school.

However, Amelia works hard when she's confident with what she's doing. Although she refuses to do things that require practice and figuring things out on her own, she excels at things with an objective right or wrong answer, and is thus good at not only math courses but language arts if given a rubric to base her work from.

Amelia also has an excellent memory; she can memorize important conversations word-for-word, even when angry. She always contrasts herself from most other Riolu, saying she lacks the instinctual work ethic that all Riolu have, and justifies the claim with her refusal to battle. However, anyone who takes a look at all her other school grades will quickly realize she simply suffers from low self-esteem and loneliness.

These same Riolu instincts are also responsible for a complete inability to resist punching something every week or two; she can't help herself sneaking over to a gym every so often to start training herself alone without instruction. Although she refuses to admit it, Amelia loves and will always be drawn to battling and will likely never be able to encourage herself to completely stop training in secret.

◈Random facts◈ - Despite being mostly serious, Amelia does laugh when alone with friends and even has a more bubbly side when talking about things they enjoy together. - Amelia is the only anthropomorphic Riolu with a fluffy and curled tail. - Amelia often gets desperate when flustered or embarrassed; if she were caught battling alone she'd start begging the viewer to keep the secret.

◈Basic info◈

Full name: Daniel Jake Miller

◈Personality◈

Simply put, Daniel is really just an ordinary mischief maker. He cracks inappropriate jokes in classrooms, his grades are around average, and he has a negative habit of reading other's minds without warning. The mind reading in particular has given him a difficult time making friends, and he became lonely as a result. His family tried moving to another region for a fresh start, and Daniel vowed to stop his bad habits. But in the end his curiosity got the better of him, and he found himself friendless once again..until he met Ryan.

Ryan stated that he had a similar habit of looking into others' privacy, and that although he knew what he was doing was wrong he knew how hard it is to break a habit. At first Daniel wasn't interested in befriending Ryan, mostly because he didn't believe him. He knew via Suzie that Ryan was powerless, and assumed he was just trying to cheer him up. Fortunately for Ryan, Daniel was one of those kids that have "asdfghjkl" as their school laptop password, and after Daniel caught Ryan scrolling through pictures of his old classmates the two became fast friends.

As for talents, Daniel has published his own EDM songs since the age of ten. While not a prodigy in the same sense as Suzie and Ryan, he has a good sense of music and can identify a song's chords just by hearing it. He's also above-average when battling, though he has a difficult time dodging physical attacks when he isn't protecting himself. He managed to defeat five gyms in a row before getting beaten during the sixth.

◈Random facts◈

- Unlike most other Ralts, Daniel doesn't mind being around negative emotions and isn't shy at all. In fact, he almost seems to enjoy small amounts of anger when getting in trouble, though he never does anything outright malicious.

- Daniel's family recently adopted a baby Sobble with a missing hand, naming him Kyle. As of SoO Kyle is around three years old.

- Prior to moving, Daniel took lessons in school on the same language Ryan spoke. He can speak fluently but has trouble spelling, which is why he made his first computer passwords so simple.

It seems someone caught Lexi practicing her new ability to summon and levitate rocks from thin air.

This is a reference sheet of Lexi, my main OC and self-insert. She lives in a relatively normal world seemingly without Pokemon or obvious signs of magic. However, she was "cursed" with the ability to transform into an anthropomorphic Rockruff at will, which also drastically alters her personality.

As a human, Lexi is pretty chill. Occasionally you’ll see her laugh, but most of the time she doesn’t do anything beyond smile. Though often sarcastic, she’s quick to apologize if someone gets mad at her. When she’s mad herself, she speaks closer to a firm whisper than a yell. She has had difficulty controlling her anger when she was younger, even getting physical in extreme situations. She always wears basic clothes that consist of few colors, like those shown in the reference. Although she doesn't care about her attire, she is very self-conscious of what other people think of her as a friend. She's also bisexual and has low self-esteem, neither of which are really signifigant in terms of plot.

As a Rockruff, Lexi is notably more peppy and easily excited. She becomes very cheerful and extroverted, even invading personal space while doing so, and loves getting complements, just like a dog. She also seems to become slightly more bubbly as a Rockruff, becoming more naive and aware of her attire and appearence. Lexi hates these traits as a human and thus avoids transforming to the best of her ability.
