I don't know about you, but one of my favorite parts of thrifting isn't just finding hidden treasures. It's imagining what they could become. 💕

This Eastlake Table Was Almost Trash... Until This Happened ✨

There were plenty of reasons why this Eastlake table ended up on the curb. The top was blotchy, the boards were warped, joints needed repair, and it looked well beyond saving.

But I couldn't walk away from it.

After a lot of patience, repairs, and refinishing, this forgotten piece was transformed into something beautiful again. Seeing the rich wood grain come back to life is exactly why I love rescuing old furniture.

This rescued 1980s lingerie chest was headed for obscurity until a rich Coffee Bean paint makeover completely transformed it into a sophisticated modern storage piece.

With a redesigned base, fresh hardware, and one timeless color, this dated furniture piece now looks custom-made and high end. It's amazing what a little creativity and paint can do.

I almost walked past this vintage chair sitting curbside. The textured fabric looked dated, the corners were chewed up, and it definitely needed help. But underneath all that wear was a beautiful frame worth saving.

Thrift store frames are beautiful, but they rarely match the size of the art we actually want to display. In this DIY, I show how I take mismatched frames and resize them instead of giving up or paying for custom framing.

The process is simple and surprisingly satisfying. I measure my artwork, mark the frame, cut each corner at a 45 degree angle, then glue and secure everything back together. Once it is dry, I add the backing and finish it for a clean custom look.

I found these old Chinese Chippendale tables looking worn and forgotten, but I couldn’t pass them up. 🤍

With soft black paint and natural cane rattan, they finally feel fresh, lighter, and full of character again. I love how the woven texture softened the bold lines of the tables while still keeping their vintage charm intact.
