Grab your popcorn, jammies, and furbies – it’s time for a sleepover livestream!

Join me Friday at 8 PM Eastern on Rabbit (links to room will be posted day of the event)! I’ll be in my pajamas and with my furbies watching the Furby Island movie for the first time, and we can all share in on the experience! Maybe if there’s enough interest afterward, we can spend some time braiding each other’s hair and talking about boys furbies.

So one day we go over to Elizabeth’s house, and Elizabeth has an older sister named Leah.  Now, I don’t know how old Leah is, because when you’re in elementary school, anyone who’s old enough to drive and has disposable income might as well be an adult, and she definitely has disposable income.  I rarely ever saw her, but I do remember one time I caught a glimpse of her room, and I shit you not, she had shelves all around the perimeter, just… fucking… crawling with Furbies. 

I lost my fucking mind.  I remember asking her about it and she said she just liked to collect them.  They weren’t super hard to come by at this point and the hype had died down, so you could get one for $30, maybe less if they were on sale.  I had spent half a year pining for a Furby when they first came out, when they were almost impossible to get your hands on, short of paying hundos to some price scalper on eBay, so seeing this holy shrine of Furbies absolutely floored me.  And knowing that, hell, if I really wanted to, I could theoretically save up some allowance and just … buy more Furbies… completely blew me away.
