my long furby is approaching the home stretch. I feel like it’s not as long as everyone else’s long furbies but also i dont think it’s a contest.

Finished product, Furbtrio reigns true.

Name: Fates Birthday: May 3rd 2021 Astrology: Taurus Sun Aries Moon Libra Rising Bio: Brother of Furbtrio. Sees the future and past but speaks nothing to mortal ears. Fun Fact: Likes corn on the cob.

Documentation of Furbtrio the Chimera Furby. Used three mcfurby faceplates and a furby buddy pelt that had the misfortune of being my first unsatisfactory attempt at customizing. (The faceplate took a brutal beating too but it's okay that ended up going into another project!) Started by planning out the face placement, then I dyed the fur with watered down acrylic paint and started layering on base colors of thicker acrylic for the faceplates. Once the body was done drying I reconstructed the furb and continued painting the eyes and details. Completed photos coming soon.

Documenting the creation of my long furby. They’re vegan and made from blankets found from the thrift store. The hair is yarn. The face is all done in acrylic paint. They’re going to be around 29 inches long upon completion. I’m not done yet, I just got her spine in the mail and I need to go pick it up from my post box today. I’m still trying to decide how to attach the spine into the head but I think I’m going to drill some holes through the top with my hand drill and sew it in, and then maybe glue it as well. Body material can be kinda thin, so all glue would need to go behind where the faceplate is.
