We were given the gift of seeing @mrpeterframpton tonight for a recording of a TV show for @skyarts UK, filmed right here in Nashville. I burst out into tears just about the whole show- his playing was *that* magical! Just a phenomenal, tasteful, brilliant performer. Pure magic. Probably the way Cros would want to be remembered. Music and a big fat joint. His music, from The Byrds to CSNY to his solo stuff, really moved me. His vocals were sooo lush and hypnotic. Probably the happiest I’ve ever seen her… with her Daddy. And she’s back in his arms again and with her son too. Not an enviable life but I’m shocked she didn’t stay longer. Twas a great year. One of my best ever. Nothing was planned though, it just rolled out magically- as has been my path ever since I met @rich_mahan. You magnificent creature. My favorite Angeleno. Absolutely gutted at this news and missing my hometown. The lone wolf. He loved the cameras and the cameras loved him! He knew the shortcuts (Take Fountain) but was ultimately trapped in by traffic. Just looking for love in a city that can be hard on the gentle ones. I’ve always said that for those passing through or trying to succeed in the business in LA stay about 10 years then they go back to where they came from. I hope he is on an open plain running, frolicking, making out, getting kissed on. No better representative of our beautiful city. I hope he gets the statue he deserves. Say hello to Ramble On Ranch! She’s a little bit country (Grateful Dead/Rich) and a little bit rock and roll (Zeppelin/me)! She is our new 1955 rambler ranch house we bought this week! We feel so lucky to be the guardians over this old gal for the time to come. She has a very open, relaxed Cambria/CA beach house vibe and sits between the pines and the oak and the magnolia trees! We have to thank our baller real estate agent (Queen of Donelson) @mazzunashvillerealtor who got us into this house before it went to market. She saw it, thought of us, made the match! We were under contract that day! We’re in a coveted adorable neighborhood, our wonderful neighbor has already invited us over for guitar jams, and we have five (5) chickens! So far we’ve tackled plumbing, chimney sweeps, deep cleaners, gutters & leaves, doorknobs!
