Following Fundies

Was anyone going to tell me jing and jer closer their shop and stopped recording their podcast or was I just supposed to be checking reddit myself

Their shop is still open, I just checked. They haven’t uploaded a new podcast episode since the end of 2020.

Ah per the usual reddit jumped the gun a bit but - the podcast Instagram has been wiped and the store hasn't been fulfilling orders for a while (with a note on the website that orders wouldn't be filled before 3/26, not just like...not)

I mean, they do have a newborn at home. They could have decided to take a few months to not focus on their store/podcast because those do eat a lot of time.

Just adding my thoughts: Fundies (and Americans?) seem to do the blood test at ~10-13w. It costs a lot of money here (Canada), so I think most of us wait for our taxpayer paid ultrasound at 18-22w. We found out with Baby Cactus at 18w2d.

Most people don’t realize there are some forms of Downs that are less obvious than others, such as Mosaic Downs. We don’t know their story and they are not in the public life, so I am choosing not to look into this until they decide to post something.

Well my friend just told me she is six weeks pregnant, officially giving me a case of baby fever. So starting next week (I’ve got five more pills left in my birth control), Baby Cactus 2.0 is officially going to be in the works!

For the record, this is always when we planned on starting trying, but I am actually excited now whereas even yesterday I was more or less indifferent to it (as covid and a few other things have been taking all my attention as of late).

Just zoomed in and it looks like the plane is a Brussels Airline plane. Looks like they may actually be headed to Belgium. Could it be a vacation there, or perhaps a stopover on a missions trip or some dumb shit like that? 

If he has to quarantine anywhere he is going to be even more annoying than usual because he will have nothing else to do.

So according to the video put out by Katey's family she and Jed got engaged on Valentine's Day (Feb 14th) and they're getting married on April 3rd which gives us a engagement of 48 days...that's quick even for fundies right?

i usually look at the average fundie engagement being three months. i actually laughed when the voiceover was like “i will keep myself pure until it is time to marry you” like... bitch that’s like two weeks

Just to put it in perspective, this engagement is shorter than Kim Kardashian’s marriage to Kris Humphries.

This just feels weird. We don’t really see any hand holding or hugging - most of the couple at least did that after they were engaged. And the voiceover (plus need to publicize it?!?) feels forced to me. At least with the others we just saw regular emotions instead of this awkward voiceover.

Those look pretty legit. I am impressed they were able to keep it under wraps until three weeks before the big day.
