oh god. liv would go back after that kind of transmission. she’d go back to mantle, even if she had to turn the boat around herself. she’d delay finding her family, finding out if they’re even potentially alive. and it would kill her but her sense of duty and knowing there’s something bigger than herself happening would make her go back and she’d be so sad and full of hurt and dread but determined to do everything she can to help and i’m so proud of one lightning bug 

ngl i’m losing my shit over the ep. ruby getting fucking read like that, penny holding her own for so well for so long, fucking NORA???????? and the fact that she might be able to handle charges like that down the line, or at least not have a total aura snap right after. just------ holy fuckkkkkkkkk (also now my brain is trying to do the science to see if liv could have handled that kind of charge because her semblance is more specifically about the manipulation of energy compared to intake energy, get swole. )
