I Just Think He’s Neat

i never understood why some people get upset when ash does something a flawed character would do, especially in aved. i fear that is the prime form of ash. there was no other way he would turn out after experiencing what he did. the only other path would be him being dead. yes, he’s a pervert. yes, he makes insensitive comments and jokes. yes, he’s an asshole. that is the whole point. It's a part of his character progression and growth. if you don’t like who he is at his prime… did you ever like ash at all? that’s who he is. HAHA.

the whole point of ash vs. evil dead is to show how he’s been affected by what he went through and how he works through some of his flaws and poor coping by gaining a found family and seeing inside of himself. that is the whole theme of the show. ash looking inside himself and making a change so he can move on and heal. it’s realistic. i just don’t get why people expect characters to be pure and morally perfect after experiencing the unimaginable, they are still human. being flawed and progressing is realistic. it’s a beautiful thing to add to a character.
