that no matter how it turns out i won't regret it

the warmth i feel when the sun shines on closed

therapy

and i pray i never get

another

probably the most compelling 

advice

but

that's only a guess only an assumption based on

one thing

and i won't know for sure until that day comes and truthfully

i'm terrified either

day

things always seem so much brighter during the

burden

and now i can finally stand

upright again

i can finally see over the trees

again

and into the 

distance

and it looks so bright

and

frolick and

scurry and

whisper and

all this despite the fact that they're

flesh

alone in

lullaby

but i awoke to see that i laid with a

siren

and her instruments of 

tears 

godliness 

is that why i'm willing to let you wash over my

dreams

but then i woke

engaging

becoming one in a timeless primitive

act 

my manhood dictates that i devour you and make you mine 

but

what's left of my humanity tells me to let you be

to 

let you hold onto your eternal purity and innocence

i want to

but i know i shouldn't

i shouldn't taint your womanhood

with

my hands my words my presence

writing frees me if nothing else

why have i waited so long to write
