Back in the early days of my burgeoning cinephilia, Harmony Korine's films Gummo and Julian Donkey Boy were of interest to me. I got to see both of them on IFC which was a trip. I haven't seen them since, but I might check them out again.

I used to frequent this site here to get a taste of his weird art. The one thing I remember is that strange baker man drawing that you see on the forum here. I would love to be able to drop in on the Guiseppe Andrews vs. Harmony Korina thread, but alas, it's all dead pages.

I like Andrews more than Korine because of his performance in Eli Roth's Cabin Fever, and the fact that a few of Andrews' own films are distributed by Troma.

I debated on posting these on my old blog, but I don't have much to say about them other than these are comic panels I like. Also, twitter sucks, and doesn't deserve to be blessed with good cartoon art.

I sent this picture to a friend of mine, and told him that this is what I looked like in high school. The resemblance was way too eerie, it really was like looking ta my younger self. His reply was that I looked like a guy who had sex with his shirt on. This was from an issue of Terry LaBan's "Cud," the first run put out by Fantagraphics.

Go Nagai, baby! "Oh shit! I'm happy" is a great line. Is it true to what's said in the original Japanese text? Not a clue, but I'd shout the same thing if a sexy, naked super-heroine were to charge towards me, and assure my death.
