FUCK YEAH! giant drag

Giant Drag really did not have great luck, zeitgeist-wise: they were either ten years ahead of their time, or ten years behind. Their first album came out in 2004, and their grungy 90-style alt rock was very out of place. Now, a decade on, there’s tons of young bands that sound like this. It’s a shame: they’re really good. 

Found this band from lead singer Annie Harry’s appearance on Deftone’s Pink Cellphone song. She’s “She is known for her quick-witted stage persona, retorts to insults and for the explicit titles of some of her songs, such as “You Fuck Like My Dad” (which was shortened to “YFLMD”) and “My Dick Sux” (though the lyrical content of the actual songs is not as blatantly explicit).”
