Giant Drag really did not have great luck, zeitgeist-wise: they were either ten years ahead of their time, or ten years behind. Their first album came out in 2004, and their grungy 90-style alt rock was very out of place. Now, a decade on, there’s tons of young bands that sound like this. It’s a shame: they’re really good.

I've inexplicably had this song stuck in my head all day.  Who the hell knows where it came from... I probably haven't heard it in at least a year!  

YFLMD by Giant Drag. I think I've made a lot of Giant Drag audio posts in the past, mostly because I wish this band got a bit more recognition. It's been quite a while since they put out an album, but they're still amazing. This is probably my favorite song by them. :3
