A lone Saguaro Cactus stands along the fields at the bottom of the Tanque Verde Ridge in Saguaro National Park. I was surprised to learn that a Saguaro may not start growing arms until it’s 100 years old. . I’m looking forward to taking an opportunity to return to Saguaro National Park and to hike the Tanque Verde Ridge. One day I hope that will be a reality. But that is just the Rincon Mountain District. There is still a whole second part of Saguaro National Park that I need to explore! .
