My career is getting to where I want it. My managers and mentors are going to me for technical decisions on testing, planning, and project management. I’m even going to one of my clients on site for consulting. Do I know what tf I’m doing? Naw LOL. But I’m glad the pieces of the puzzle is coming together and my path to becoming a seasoned and technical engineer is coming together. I honestly do it for my mom and dad because showing them what I’m accomplishing with my career and these accolades I’m starting to get really warms my heart when they say they’re proud. The long hours I work really is tough though. The variability of some days being a normal 8 hour day to days becoming 11 hour days really wear me out but I’m glad I get to work and get paid at my own pace. I’m starting to invest my capital in other things for future savings and retirement so hopefully my kids (lmao) in the future will never have a problem when they come around. I still doubt myself that I got this far, considering how I did in school.
