Little solider who doesn't show emotion who doesn't cry doesn't let fear over take them.

But... Your little solider can't stand without a general he can lean on when he's wounded.

My general leaves me back in the dust with no hope of coming home.

You just kept walking worried about the oldest and youngest solider forgetting there's one in the middle.

My first life was so boring, just forget I mentioned it.

And my second seemed to let me do all of the things my first life didn't.

Third life was a hateful man, all poison to the bone.

Emotional abuse: One of the least visible signs of abuse but also one of the hardest to recover from. It doesn't leave any physical marks, but the mental scars are deeply ingrained. Emotional abuse includes being told you aren't worthy, that your feelings aren't valid, that you are over reacting, that you are upsetting the other person, etc. If it effects your emotions negatively on purpose, its emotional abuse. Emotional abuse doesn't get the recognition other types of abuse get and that is unfortunate because it is sadly one of the most common forms.

Verbal abuse: Very similar to emotional abuse in the way that it doesn't leave physical marks but deep mental scars that are extremely hard to heal from. Constantly hearing degrading and offensive remarks about your person breaks ones spirit. Verbal abuse is obviously verbal and includes anything the person says to purposely hurt your feelings and make you feel like shit.

mental abuse: Also very similar to emotional and verbal abuse. It tends to overlap with one or both of those and does not leave physical marks, but once again deep mental scars. Constantly hearing that you are unworthy and undeserving breaks you mentally. Makes you second guess about everything. Makes you hate yourself. Makes you think you deserve to be treated like crap. It allows the person to have power and control over you, breaking your spirit. It can be hard to notice and harder to recover from.

Physical abuse: Leaves physical marks most of the time, but some times doesn't leave a mark. Is one of the most common types of abuse shown in the media and books. When people think of abuse they think physical, but its only one type of abuse and most of the time a victim has to deal with multiple forms of abuse at once.

Sexual abuse: This includes anything sexual that was not consensual the entire time. If the person continues being intimate with you and you don't verbally say yes its not consensual.
