nova was glad to be back on the beach, though she didn’t want to tan or sit out by the water she just wanted to walk feel the sand between her toes take in the scene around her. she stopped for a second when she then heard the voice behind her. turning she smiled softly before she nodded, “it’s always fun getting a new addition to the group.” she said shaking her head, “nice too meet you, i’m nova.”

“Ooh, Nova,” Ethan repeated back to her. Pretty girl, pretty name. “I dig that a lot,” He said honestly, holding his hand out for the blonde to shake. “So, do you take cliche walks on the beach often?”

“spooked me?” dalton raised an eyebrow, chuckling softly at his words. “no no, you’re fine. i’m fine,” he glanced back down towards his novel for a split second to just close it over before he returned back to his gaze. “but yes, everyone loves a new addition to the group. i swear, everyone gets really excited,”

“Yeah, just walking around, staring at shit, creeping while you’re trying to read,” Ethan laughed, trying to peek at what the other boy was reading. “And your name...?” He asked him slowly, raising his eyebrows inquisitively. 

kylie was just heading back to the house when she noticed an unfamiliar face. she gave the boy a small smile, “of course, rivalry island loves drama” she said. “its nice to meet you Ethan, i’m Kylie. how was your flight over here?”

“Nice to meet you too, Kylie,” Ethan smiled back as sweetly as possible. “It was alright, nothing I’m not used to.” He stated simply with a small shrug. He’d moved around a lot in his lifetime. “So what brings a pretty face like you to this type of gig?” 

“you know it really is my luck to have this be my first day here.” she said as she leaned up against the wall,sighing. “all i want is a goddamn drink and a fucking cigarette. is that too much for a girl to ask for on her vacation?” khloe rolled her eyes in aggravating. “do you want to at least check the place out instead of standing around like a bunch of idiots?”

“Cigarettes are gross, you should try weed. Much better than a cigarette.” He said honestly. “What happened that has your panties all in a bunch, if you don’t mind me asking?” 

“ i’m not trying to be DRAMATIC or anything, but, there’s not much that i WOULDN’T do to hit up waffle house right about now. i KNOW it’s super late, but, that’s when the best stuff happens. one time, i rolled into a waffle house around four in the morning, and the sweetest old lady who was the waitress found a big ass baggie of weed and JUST GAVE IT TO ME. i just don’t think she had ANY IDEA what it was. or maybe, grammy’s the plug?? we will never know. — I still want that waffle though.”

“Waffle house? Why waffle house? Denny’s is the only place to go after the club when you’re hungry and still a little bit drunk. Waffle house doesn’t have a good enough selection on their menu.”

“okay, so there’s like absolutely nothing to do and i’m trying my best to not freak out about this whole situation so if you could just like come cuddle and just keep my mind off of everything, i would deeply appreciate it.”

“Whole... situation? What situation? I literally just got here like, hours ago so I’ve not a clue whats going on,”
