niall’s drunk, stumbling and slurring his words, mumbling nonsense as harry half-carries him into the house. it’s a workout, trying to coax niall down the hall and into some pajamas.

“babe, you gotta at least take your jeans off,” harry says.

niall frowns. “you–you’re so good t’ me.”

harry bites back his smile. “i’m just trying to make sure you’re comfortable to sleep.”

“yeah, and tha’s… you’re so nice, so good,” niall says, earnest, nodding to himself. “and i just love you. do you know how much?” harry shakes his head, unable to hide his grin now. “ask me how much,” niall prompts.

“how much do you love me?” harry asks, dutifully.

niall tries his best to look him in the eye. “all of it,” he says solemnly.

harry huffs a laugh. “all of what?”
