It's been weeks since Justin last saw his mother. All he could remember was seeing her tears hitting the ground whilst she screamed his name. He needed help and she knew that, but what she didn't know was why? All his mother knew was that the media had been attacking him furiously and that nobody was giving him a break. SO for once in his life Justin decided to take a stand and be the one to break it to his mother as to why he is here at the island.

What was your family life like?

I didn't have the most ideal family life, but I didn't have a bad one either. My mother and father are separated, but we still love one another and do things together. 

Are you close to your parents now?

Extremely close to both my parents.

What is your earliest memory?

When my mother and father taught me how to ice skate.

What’s your saddest memory? Your happiest memory?

Saddest by far is when my parents told me they were disappointed in the person I was turning into. Happiest has got to be when I had a summer fling with a girl I once knew. We always met up on the beach and spent all day together.

What was childhood like for you?

It wasn't the best. It was hard knowing my parents weren't together and it's when my depression first began. However I had a lot of school friends, but I don't have many now.

How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?

I'd be eighteen. 

Did you enjoy/like school?

I liked seeing my close friends, but I didn't like the thought of school or it's work.

How did you do in school?

Straight A's to B's. It varies.

What is your writing like? Messy, neat, sturdy, curvy, etc?

Neat.

Can you cook? Did somebody teach you, or tried to teach you?

I can cook some nice meals. My mother taught me when I was younger.

In your opinion, are you a good driver?

Yes. I'm safe, but sometimes I like to push the limits.

What was your first impression of the island?

I was afraid the first time I came here, I had no idea where to go or who to be. Everyone it seemed knew who they were and I was just a lost kid.

Do you think the island will help you?

It did the first time, and I'm hoping it will once again.

Who have you shared your secret with? Or who would you trust to share it with?

I share my secrets with no one but my closest friends.

Never really had any serious relationships, love wise.

My closest friends, I have few.

Someone who I've been nice to.

Anyone that I've made upset.

Anyone as long as I've never had a rough patch with that person in the past.

What would you be willing to do to protect such a person?

Anything. It depends how serious the situation is. To an extent I would do anything.

Is there anything you wouldn’t do to protect such a person and if so what?

It depends on the situation.

Anyone that has lied to me before or treated me badly.

Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict?

Avoid conflict.

Canadian accent, a small one.

Have you ever been to jail?

Nope.

Not my kind of thing.

I'm found in between the two.

Greatest strength? Greatest weakness?

I'm a good listener and I care for others, but my greatest weakness is that I don't have that much of a thick skin. So I take most things to heart.

Biggest regret?

Cutting.

More worried about doing things right.

The piano and the guitar playing.

What do you do on rainy days?

I either play the piano or guitar or text some friends.

Once is enough for me, unless I'm in a rush then yes I do press it multiple times.

What’s your sense of humor like? 

My sense of humor is great.

Has your greatest fear ever come true?

Yes, sadly.

I have some scars on my wrists, tattoos on my left arm, on my left rib, on the right of my chest, lower abdomen.

If you could have one thing right now, what would it be?

Happiness.

How do you exercise? Work out at the gym, walks in the morning, run marathons, play sports, couch potato?

Work out at the gym and morning runs.

If you had to wake up and see one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be? What about when you fall asleep?

The love of my life.

Cherish your childhood, you only have one chance.

Do you remember many of your dreams?

Yes. 

If you had 24 hours left to live, how would you spend them?

Probably playing the piano and guitar to keep me calm.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Back on the road doing what I love, but with happiness.

What does your home look like?

It's small. Just your average home. I live with my mom so we have two bedroom, an extra room for the piano, a kitchen, a basement, and a living room. The walls are light blue with a cream colored carpet.

Are you generally organized or messy?

I won't lie. I'm pretty messy at times.

What is the best thing that happened to you last year?

I've begun playing the piano and guitar again and I'm back at the Island, where there is peace.

What is the worst thing that happened to you last year?

Leaving my parent's side and the few suicide attempts.

Do you trust people easily?

No.

Yes.

If somebody handed you a book that had every single moment of your life in it, would you skip to the ending and see what happens in your life? 

I'd probably read a page a day, that way I'm always left wanting more.
