ftmtf is someone was assigned female at birth, transitioned to pass as male, and then ultimately realized they are female and either detransitioned or found people who accept them regardless of the consequences of gender affirming care.

for the purposes of my blog, i am still ftm in my personal life at this point, but i am privately considering long-term detransition and prefer to be considered female online. it's much easier to identify as ftmtf than have to explain my deeper voice to transphobic straight guys who then get weirded out and block me, or constantly have to correct people when it comes to my pronouns and how i want to be perceived in this space.
