this is the first time I've legitimately not needed my lineart after painting. I hit a milestone today. This is a study made after a photo of a roadrunner and it taught me things. Hooray for studying!

I really wanted to capture the harshness of snow and the cold that comes with it. I feel most paleoart of dinosaurs in the snow have a peaceful vibe. But I wanted to showcase the other side of the peace, since most animals even if adapted to the cold have a hard time surviving the cold, especially during heavier snow

simple idea i want to try painting. I did composition and color sketch digitally before I go and do it traditionally, either with gouache or oilpaint. I'll let y'all know how that goes.
