Prompt: Cuddling Headcanons for Damien, Oz, and Vera with the reader
○ This boy is even warmer than you’d think he would be. It’s like cuddling up to an actual furnace like he just radiates heat everywhere. It’s a godsend in the winter, but it can be a little much in the summer. If you’re still up to cuddling through the hotter months though, so is he
○ Believe it or not Damien is actually a huge sucker for cuddles. He’d never admit it but he absolutely loves to be snuggled up with you. There’s almost never a time when he’s not down to snuggle. That being said, he does have an Image™ to keep, so if others are around you’ll probably just be getting an arm around the waist or maybe a backhug
○ Definite big spoon. Unless he’s really feeling down and in need on comfort he will pretty much refuse to be the little spoon - like, he’ll actually fight you for it. He likes to feel tough and protective of his partners, so he likes to be in the position that makes him feel that way.
○ Loves to hug you from behind. He does it all the time. Wrapping his arms around your waist and putting his chin on your head is kind of soothing for him somehow. If they’re alone and he’s feeling particularly romantic, Damien will even start to sway back and forth with you
○ Damien is a demanding little shit when it comes to cuddles though. When he wants cuddles he’s going to get them (unless you’re really uncomfortable with it, of course) and he’s not going to let you go until he’s completely satisfied. “Hey. Babe, get your ass over here.” Is usually a greeting that means you’re going to be snuggled up with Damien on the couch for a long time
○ Very playful when he cuddles too. While he can be soft and romantic from time to time, or slow and sleepy, playful and suggestive is his default. Catch him nuzzling his face into your neck, nibbling your ears and sliding his fingers just under the waistband of your pants, or sliding them up your stomach under your shirt. It doesn’t have to lead anywhere, but he likes to tease
○ A bit hesitant at first. Oz is a bit shy, and he worries about ever doing anything that would make you uncomfortable, so they’re not completely sure how to approach you at first
○ Even if you initiate cuddles Oz is really stiff in the beginning. Don’t worry, it’s not that they don’t like it - on the contrary they totally love it - but Oz just isn’t quite sure how they should reciprocate
○ Once they get used to you and what you like, though, Oz actually gives the best cuddles. They love to wrap you up in huge bear hugs, and snuggle you as close as possible. There’s just about never any room between you and Oz while you’re cuddling if they can help it
○ Really comfy actually. Their skin has a strange texture: it’s not quite slimy and it’s not quite squishy, but it’s strangely comfortably to rest your head on. It doesn’t even matter what part of Oz’s body you lay on, they’re just somehow really comfortable everywhere
○ Oz’s favourite way to snuggle is laying down facing each other with your head in the crook of their neck. Oz just absolutely adores being so close to you. Not only that, but they feel trusted and safe when you’re so close and that warms their heart
○ The phobias (the little creatures connected to Oz’s body) definitely get in on the snuggles. It takes a little bit to get used to feeling them squirm between the two of you, but they just want to get close to you too! They love to nuzzle into you and sometimes they even plact tiny little kisses on your skin
○ Not the biggest cuddler ever, to be honest. She’s not against snuggles by any means, but she’s often busy and expresses her affection in ways other than physical touch more often
○ Her snakes are quite cuddly though. When they’re not busy helping her run her businesses or set up money making schemes and you’re nearby Vera’s snakes love to stretch out and nuzzle against your face or hands. Vera always scolds them, but she actually thinks it’s really cute
○ She’s happy as the big spoon or the little spoon, actually. Sometimes her moods change and she wants one or the other specifically, but usually she’ll take whichever role you want her to
○ Vera prefers cuddling positions that leave her a little room to move around and, often times, room to work. Being smooshed up too close makes her feel a bit claustrophobic. Sitting between your legs with her back to your chest or with your head in her lap suit you best
○ Vera lowkey loves it when you play with her snakes while you cuddle. Braiding them, putting them up, whatever. It doesn’t really matter what exactly you do, but she loves the feeling of your hands in her hair. That doesn’t mean she wont make fun of you if you do a terrible job styling it, though
○ Vera is incredibly soft with you if you fall asleep on her lap - or if she thinks you fell asleep on her lap. She’ll run her fingers through your hair gently, caress your face and maybe even say something nice about you. Of course, if she realizes you’ve actually been awake the whole time she’ll get super embarrassed and threaten to use your heart in a blood sacrifice, but she doesn’t actually mean it. Having experienced one of Vera’s super rare tender moments would totally be worth it anyways.
