Cooking up a Frankenstein AU where Rafal becomes worsties with Badeni if it means being on the cutting edge of a new scientific breakthrough, while noticing Badeni is having trouble remaining completely objective about the fact their subject, his late friend, retains none of his memories from before.

(Edit because family members told me they literally couldn’t see him. He was announcing the inquisitors would need an ambulance from the shadows.)
