Possible design for Bruce’s Middle Earth (non-Mordor) armor. Much of the materials and inspirations are derived from The Hobbit costumes on @fruityadobo‘s scans (thank you!) which have proved incredibly helpful for picking the right shapes and designs.
Instead of Mordor’s monochrome and dark, jagged silhouettes which the armor gives the wearer, I wanted Bruce’s Middle Earth armor to be smooth, saturated with natural colors, and sturdy yet elegant metal pieces.
On his back armor plate is a makeshift ‘saddle’ only slightly similar to those on the trolls in Battle of the Five Armies, but not so cruelly designed. The rider would have to hold onto Bruce’s mane, so the rider- therefore- must have Bruce’s permission to do so, unlike the barbaric chains on the trolls in BotFA. (Additionally, the back of the saddle- curved, so the rider won’t fall off when Bruce rears on two legs- closely resembles that of a shark fin.)
