Alerted to the flap of wings, he glanced up and to his side, Shiny blue feathers. Cold air, One of the birds and Articuno of the three, Dare he say it surprised him she decided to show up as she had. But there was a faint smile of appreciation, hidden behind the mask, He glanced back to the water.

“Human’s have a hard time accepting things they do not understand” She stated, an almost bitter tone to her normally calm and gentle one.

But, she understood the guardian well enough, responding with a simple nod of the head, her face softening once more. “As long as those memories are not painful, then I have no need to worry for you. But, you are right….a lot has changed in this world from the olden days. But…if it helps any, the ocean and the sky has not changed that much”

“Because it’s hard for them to understand Articuno, You cannot blame them for what is foreign to them, reaching even one hundred is a achievement often celebrated. Mm…sometimes i think i’m to human to keep an immortal soul.”

he was, More human then other legends, That side of him. It craved well…he didn’t know, Was it companionship, love or…dare he say death? humans weren’t meant to live so long but he had, The legendary side persevered and kept going despite all. Living and living and living, With but one purpose to sustain him. Brushing his hair back to tuck behind his ears, He sighed.

She kept quiet a moment, contemplating...had she feathers at the moment, surely they would be ruffled. 

“I supposed I cannot fault humans for not understanding, I still have trouble accepting that is just how they are.” She stated, waiting a moment before continuing. “I sometimes forget that you do in fact carry the blood of a human...I hope my own bitterness towards them has not offended you”

Slowly she allows a smile tug at her lips, she too knows that tired feeling. She may not be as old as this guardian, but she knows the feeling of living a long, long life. Such is the burden they carry as Legendaries.
