Ice Ice Baby?

“SHE JUST DOESN’T GO ON THE POINT AT ALL!!!! I CAN’T HEAL YOU FOREVER RYUUTA THERE’S THE REST OF THE TEAM TO PING PONG AROUND TO.”

“Thats honestly a question I ask myself every game of Overwatch. Healers are essential and YET no one protects them. Do you not protect the Trinity or Oberon so they can heal you??? APPARENTLY NOT FOR ANYONE IN OVERWATCH!” 

“THIS GAME IS FUN! IF YOU GO TO THE POINT”

“HOW DO YOU FIND ANYTHING WITHOUT A FREAKING MAP? I AM SO LOST!”

“YOU SAID THIS WOULD BE FUN! THIS IS MORE STRESSFUL THAN A MISSION!”

“TYE. WHAT AM I DOING??!!”

Survival missions weren’t one of Tye’s favorite things, but he was good at them. Protecting one or two places and then staying alive. Whether that be by taking care of waves of infested, or just by running from place to place. While working on doing the prior, a shot zipped past his head. Landing another solid Boar shot on a group of infested he looked towards where the arrow came from. He spun in a circle, calling forth an avalanche to freeze the current group in front of him, before going towards the source.Throwing back a bolt of ice as a warning shot in return.

“SHOW YOURSELF!”

She considered herself lucky to be here, this was the first time she’s been in an area where there was an active Tenno. She usually found out about the Tenno slaughtering her siblings after the fact or she wouldn’t get there in time to assist. Excited fingers danced across the string of her bow, waiting for the Tenno’s response. She kept away from the direct line of fire and remained quiet, listening for the sound of their guest. They wouldn’t be leaving here without a little present… not if she had any say in it. She saw the bolt of ice and smiled, she was dealing with a Frost Warframe. While that might give her some problems with the ice, she wasn’t very concerned. A Loki or Ivara would have made her job much harder to accomplish. She pulled back another arrow and shot it in the same area she shot the first one. She wanted to toy with this Tenno before revealing herself.

“Come and find me~ ”

She called out, debating if she should turn on the ship’s air supply back on, just to keep their guest comfortable. She didn’t have to worry about the spores, they were a part of her. Though the other might not feel so relaxed without some sort of ‘clean’ air supply. For now, she would just tease him and lure him deeper into the ship. A Juggernaut would be more than enough support to take down a little Frost. 

He didn’t entirely like this. Who exactly was this? He kept the Boar at the ready as he walked towards the shot. Narrowly missing another as it whizzed by his head. He swallowed and kept going forwards, ears perked for the sound of his ice breaking. He didn’t have too much time.  “...”

She could feel it, the pain of her brothers and sisters falling one after another. There was only one kind that could kill so many of them with such ease. 

‘A Tenno.’

‘Tenno is here.’

‘Murderer!’

‘Assimilate them!’

‘Bring them to us’ 

She could feel their thoughts, their desires, she knew what they knew. That another Tenno was among them, and that fact brought a smile to her face. She stood up from her resting spot, a quiet corner near one of the hives and drew her bow. It wasn’t just her Warframe that took so well to the Infestation, her weapons did as well. She instinctively knew where to go, and she felt no fear as she went towards where her comrades were dying. She knew that she wasn’t alone, she would never be alone now. The energy flowing through her Warframe sparked in excitement as she drew closer to the location. She raised her bow, and shot an arrow in the area where she thought the Tenno might be. Make them scared, make them paranoid. Fear will eventually consume any Tenno, for she knew the truth of them… the truth that is hidden behind the Warframes.

He didn’t like how Tyl was looking at him. It made him feel small. He put down his arm, setting the amp to his side. Backing up as he was stared down.

“Just because I’m young doesn’t mean I’m not able to fight. I’m not that young anyways! So don’t belittle me!”

The tenno barked, activating transference and replacing his form with that of Frost Prime. He wasn’t prepared for a boss fight today but he’d do it if he needed to.

“I’m going nowhere Tyl, I have things to do.”

He was floored.  The tenno were… children.

Home? He didn’t exactly have a home. 

“I choose what I want to do and I do it. Why do you even care? You’re a part of the Grineer and you hate the tenno. It’s simple as that.”

He bristiled at that comment about the Lotus.

“YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT HER.”

He got right in his face the cold spilling off of Frost and probably sending chills down Tyl’s spine. 

“Wh- how–”

Staring down at the child he hesitated.

“Aren’t you a little far from home?  What are the colonies sending their youth now?  That’s sad.  Even I don’t send fresh Grineer into enemy territory.  And they don’t even get proper childhoods.  Vay Hek is a different story.  But that over grown chicken is a disgrace to us all.”

He made a noise between a sigh and a huff.

He didn’t like how Tyl was looking at him. It made him feel small. He put down his arm, setting the amp to his side. Backing up as he was stared down.

“Just because I’m young doesn’t mean I’m not able to fight. I’m not that young anyways! So don’t belittle me!”
