Like yesterday, I was talking to one of my friends about Eloise. At the beginning of season three there seems to be the shift in Eloise‘s personality like she’s changing her affections and giving up on what she calls fairytale like dreams to be independent. For all of us that have watched the show. We know that this is a crazy transition, though they try to make it seem more subtle. Elise, though maybe her affections have just naturally shifted maybe she’s maturing and no longer into such childish frivolous things. But at the end of the fourth episode we get to see the truth. On the inside, Eloise is the same girl she’s always been. Yes, in the in between episodes we do get to see that and how she treats Penelope . Eloise is the same girl just hurt. But in episode four when Eloise is talking to Cressida. we get to see that her affections have not changed. She still desires a life where she can nurture her mind one or her entire existence does not have to be focused around getting married or romance.
The difference is even though Eloise is the same girl. She now has an internal struggle with no longer wanting the difficulty that she faced last season. I think that this adds difficulty when it comes to mending her friendship with Penelope. As she said in the show, she sees her relationship with Penelope as in the past.
