Let’s do this!
I’m currently on a journey of self-care and learning to love myself. Over the last few months, I have spent a lot of time reflecting on who I am as a person, what I like and dislike and where I wanna go with my life. Part of this has meant a massive career change. I am now a trainee mental health social worker on the Think Ahead Graduate scheme. I’ve just completed the summer institute and my shadowing week starts on the 22nd August. I’m so excited for this next stage in my life. Now that I have got to grips with my mental health and my PCOS diagnosis; it’s time for me to tackle my weight again. This time, I won’t be going via slimming world as I think some of my issues have come from there. My main focus will be calorie counting and then adding exercise around when I can. I will hopefully be updating this fairly regularly. I have broken my targets down into short term and long term goals. My short term goal: I’m going to Alton Towers in 66 days and do not want the embarrassment of not being able to fit on the rides again. My long term goal: I will get my masters through this graduate scheme, so I want to look good for my graduation. I don’t currently have a target weight as I want to take the journey as it comes. Start date: 8/8/22 Starting weight: 19st 3
