Finished and released my first mixtape. Culmination of 10 years of trial and error and learning. I started this hoping I could make sumn quick in the middle of another album process. What was supposed to be a 3 month exercise became a 2 year love letter to the melding of cultures that make up my person. It’s surreal to see this out, surrounded by all my brothers and sisters who played a part in its creation knowing where we started, in a closet with a snowball mic n audacity.
