been trying to encourage my friend Will to start making stuff again. Zack was his best friend. Will is the type of person that is neurotically driven to create on a daily basis but when Zack died he stopped everything. this is what he sent me today after seeing me play a set last night 😭. not sure i'll ever receive a more meaningful compliment.

was with Zack that morning before he died. He told me something that shook me, he said "everytime I'm away from you I miss you." thought he was teasing, shot him a skeptical smile, but he said "no i'm being dead serious." we'd read each other deeply. he saw me. and i know exactly what he was really trying to communicate when he told me that. one of the most graceful gestures a friend has ever given me. we had the same dreams and fears. we loved each other so much. miss you forever 🤍
