Do you know what’s crazy annoying to me? Non-Black people treating Black music as a joke. Like, September by Earth, Wind & Fire is a joke. Hey Ya by Outkast is a joke. WAP is a joke, X Gonna Give it To Ya is a joke. It’s just so weird to me, because in Black culture, these songs are just songs. They’re kickback songs and songs we play with our friends. And what’s super frustrating is that no other culture has thing done with their music, it’s just our stuff that’s funny because it’s Black. It gives me such a headache like!
