Bros lets make summer an unforgettable ero guro adventure together
On this day, 18 August 2016: Machli, the iconic Bengal tigress known by the illustrious titles of âQueen of Ranthamboreâ and âLady of the Lakesâ, died at the age of 19. She was the longest-living wild tiger in Ranthambore National Park and the world.
Machli (meaning fish) was named for the fish-like markings on her face, as was her mother. After she was witnessed performing the rare feat of killing a crocodile, Machli catapulted to fame and was given the moniker âCrocodile Killer.â
In her prime, she controlled a large territory centered around the highly-coveted lakes area and was renowned for her ferocious, protective, and savvy character. Having helped increase the number of her kind in the wild, she became the progenitor of many tigers including the famous, as-of-yet unbroken line of tigresses who still rule the core of what had once been her very own domain.
Since Machli, three subsequent generations of tigresses have inherited the title âLady of the Lakesâ with the current one being her great-granddaughter, Riddhi. Riddhi dominates certain parts of the lakes area along with her mate (and occasional rival) Ganesh, also a descendant of Machli.
