I do not care for chapter 4

Long story short I think the answer is "you're crying" for 2 main reasons

1. It would explain susies reaction and add to her character (especially with what we learn in chapter 4)

2. Noelle says kris's mouth barley moved and saying you're crying takes little to none movement of the mouth imo

I will now write fanfic on what I think was going through susies head

Maybe i just need to do a re read to really absorb all of the story but is there a reason everyone thinks theres another Silverwood tree lingering about? Well I do think Silverwood will be a part of the story for a long time i think introducing another host hidden somewhere in the cast (especially one of the 4 girls) just wouldn't be satisfying or needed

To me it would kinda just be adding on tension for no benefit, and would lessen the impact of the trees we have, only having the 3 confirmed trees (counting the one in Nolnoas shop) keeps the mysterious vibe of them.

Its like death in dragon ball after so many wishes to revive with different dragon balls and even just straight up time travel to remove consciousness death loses all weight in that story. witch hat, in comparison, is in a special balance rn where the mystery and threat of the Silverwood tree are equal and just adding more would tip the scales to far in one direction.

We were induced with how disastrous it can be with custas and given a direct link to that potential tragedy in qifrey giving coco a reason to (presumably) search for a treatment no one else could, then like something something they deem it forbidden and big plot shake up

But if more and more of the cast turn out to be hosts the idea that "no one understands them" falls apart faster and faster, the more they pop up, the less likely to seems to a reader that they just "dont know anything" about it

timeline, character motivations, what theories i think are true etc etc

Ive absorbed so much UTDR content over these last 10 years that it kinda jumbles up in my brain, contradictory ideas both being equally believed, I think having it on paper (or text post) would do me good
