The Hermit has attained his spiritual pinnacle and is ready to share his knowledge with others. He is also continuing the path he has chosen, committed to his goal of ultimate awareness. (The height of Merritt McKinney’s career before his brother/manager stole his money) The star in the lantern is a six-pointed star signifying wisdom. The staff carried by the Hermit is a symbol of power and authority. It represents the Hermit’s ability to use his isolation and the knowledge he has gained as a tool. The staff is in the Hermit’s left hand, the hand associated with the subconscious mind. He wears the grey cloak of invisibility. His secrets are not for everyone, only for those earnestly seeking them and those willing to climb the heights to wisdom. 

Death is portrayed as a skeleton as the skeletal bones are the part of the body that survives death. Death is the ultimate purifier. All things are reborn fresh, new and pure. (How Jack had “survived” the car crash. And how everyone considered him a “child” at the beginning, and how he gained the respect of the group and the title of an “adult”.)

The High Priestess is pure, exalted and gracious influence enters the matter. Hence, change, alternation, increase and decrease, fluctuation. There is, however, a liability to be led away by enthusiasm; one may become unstable unless careful balance is maintained. (Saying that Henley keeps the group steady, without her the group would fall into imbalance.) 

The Lovers represent relationships and choices. It’s appearance represents the selection of an existing or past relationship. Often an aspect of a persons life will have to be sacrificed and a partnership will be gained. (Telling Daniel about the partnership and signifying that he’ll be the leader. Also telling him that he will get another chance with Henley!! <3 )

And like, yes, that's a super funny headcanon, I've absolutely been giggling at them.

But also, with my personal experience with the performing arts... absolutely no way Jinu was the only performer Gwi-Ma got onto his side. Like, the I've met people in way better circumstances than Jinu who would absolutely sell their soul to make it big. And the fact that all five of these guys look extremely similar to Jinu even in their demonic forms indicates, to me at least, that there's a good chance that they were all former human musicians themselves.

Therefore, with all this in mind, I will put forth the humble suggestion:

Jinu didn't round up a random group of demons behind Gwi-Ma's back and train them from the ground up.

Jinu held freaking auditions behind Gwi-Ma's bacl and brutally narrowed it down American Idol style to the best of the best in order to assemble a crack team for his plan, and the other four members were the ones who made the cut.

"But Trickster, he was the only one who would get anything from Gwi-Ma for doing this, what would the other four be doing this for?"

For the chance to be performing in front of tens of thousands of adoring fans and be worshiped as an idol, naturally. I mean, have you seen the things real-world people will go through to get a chance at that? And these guys have already sold their souls for a chance at this, why not team up with the best performer in the demon realm for another chance at it?
