So I haven’t logged on in a long time. Not sure how many people from back in the day are still active. But this is my last year at Cal Poly as an aerospace engineering major with a minor in physics. I am super busy all the time. I figured I can procrastinate a while and vent.
So the aerospace department at my school does this thing where they make their lab classes 1 or 2 units when in reality, it is about 3-4 units worth of work. They do this to stay under the 200 unit cap at Cal Poly. So I’m taking 12 (unofficially 15) units. Anyway here’s a list of crap that keeps me busy.
Graphic designer and manufacturing officer for a club called Undergraduate Missiles, Ballistics, and Rocketry Association (UMBRA)
Treasurer for Sigma Gamma Tau (not a fraternity), the national aerospace honor society
CubeSat solar sail senior project
Autonomous target tracking and landing on a moving platform senior project
I basically have meetings in the morning 5/7 days of the week. It can be pretty overwhelming, but next week I will only be working on Friday nights, so that’s going to give me some more time. It helped out this weekend because I had a t-shirt order to do that took forever. I should getting back to homework, I’ll talk you all another day.
