I know this might sound flawed, but I can't think of any reason that would be traumatic enough for Ollie to kill Elliot =))) Well, Elliot died in the same year as Theodore's accident, although I don't know the exact time, but I feel that Theodore's accident had a big impact on 1006. I think the story will go something like this: Ollie wants to see Poppy, but Elliot won't let Ollie see Poppy.Then, out of sheer frustration, Ollie broke free from the box and dragged himself to the playtime company – where Ollie was certain Poppy was.Ollie accidentally witnessed the company's cruelty and learned about their idea of using children as test subjects. The point is, Ollie knew about these experiments that turn people into toys, but Ollie didn't expect a company to use such inhumane methods to make money and gain fame. Ollie wanders into playcare and accidentally encounters Theodore. Ollie tries to save him when he finds Theodore's name on the list for the next trial. But the escape failed. Before being caught by playtime, Ollie, in an unstable state, returned and killed Elliot, but Ollie was also caught and placed under strict control.

Actually, Ollie could only hide for a certain amount of time each day so that Elliot wouldn't find out; at that point, the purpose of going to Playtime to find Poppy would shift to visiting Theodore.

Okay, this sounds silly, but I have a strong belief that this could have actually happened.
