I also have autism and fidget toys and dolls are both some of my special interests too and I love the videos you've made about them !

I hope this isn't too weird but I wanted to tell you about / ask if you've heard about fidgie friends , its a doll line where the dolls's outfits are partly made out of fidgets . They aren't made anymore so you can only find them secondhand but they are some of my favorite dolls !

i believe mean things like this about myself, like i'm worth less cause of disabilities n illness... even tho i've had kind friends tell me it's not true. i believe their not lying, but i don't rlly understand why it's still so hard to not believe the bad things :'c does it just take more time?

it’s extremely difficult to get the voices of bullies, ableists, and societal ableism out of our heads, i totally relate!! HOWEVER your worth is not based on your health or productivity. how disturbing of an idea that is! you would value and cherish your friends no matter their health status, im sure, and do not love them because they are able-bodied or for the things they can do/do for you physically. that is not what love is or what a loving life is about! 🩷

i don’t know if this will help, but here’s my advice:

treat yourself the way you would a loved one or friend. if someone you cared about came to you with the same interests/traits/etc., would you shame them for who they are? or believe they should feel a sense of shame? OR would you comfort them and tell them they’re valid? can you practice turning that same compassion to yourself? (easier said than done, i know) 🩷

i know it FEELS like you have to put on a persona, but i can promise that real friends will be supportive, accepting, and even give you grace and room to grow even when you make mistakes or misunderstand something. 🩷

you can also do what i do, which is “try to take yourself less seriously”. we are here on this earth for such a finite amount of time, and during that time we must cherish the things we love and get as much out of life as possible— societal standards, bullies, the lies we hear about ourselves or society tells us, they aren’t the things that truly matter, they’re a waste of precious time. once that belief becomes a feeling, the shame really lessens. 🩷
