Do you have any recommendations for media with plurality themes and stuff?
good question! well apart from the ones i've talked before in my blog like Captain Underpants (fanon mostly), Slay the Princess, Paprika and Chonny's Charming Chaos Compendium there are a couple of media that I have seen and like to think are plurality coded (not in any order ahum—)
Severance
I really need to watch this show, but basically it hinges on the premise of splitting yourself into two. One who works and the other who doesn't need to do all the work and still get paid! There are definitely no consequences to this sketchy deal.
Disco Elysium
Ah yes, a very notable game. Where you play as an amnesiac miserable middle aged man who talks to his skills like a D&D party. There's a whole package to unpack in that game and definitely recommend you play it.
ENA
Very obvious if you know who ENA is. She's the protagonist who embodies halves of a whole. The webseries and the game has a unique aesthetic
Marvel Hero adaptations: Moon Knight, The Hulk, Deadpool
There are alot of adaptions of these heroes talking amongst themselves in their heads but the ones i've watched and read a bit about for each of these characters were 1.) Self-Care and Jake Lockley from a Max Bemis and Jacen Burrows run of a comic book, 2.) The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heros, where Bruce Banner and The Hulk have a talk and gives him full control of the body 3.) DEADPOOL the game. This is where i got introduced to Deadpool having two distinct voices talking to him throughout the game. Pretty inspiring to say the least.
There's also the TV Show Moon Knight which is a REALLY COOL watch for me! That ignited my love for plurality media
Sander Sides
Possibly one of the Internet classics that I unfortunately never grew up on. I believe the premise is literally about Sander and his many different "sides" to himself that usually bicker with each other in a comedy skit slice of life thing i think.
Layton Brothers: Mystery Room
Have yet to finish the playthrough of this one, but it's fun to see little hints and clues about Professor Layton's truest nature and what he's hiding. Hopefully nothing bad happens to him in the ending of this game.
there are some existing characters that are pretty plurality coded but arent but i don't want to be here all day trying to remember the growing (and subjective) list.
