when a pelican bites you there's no malice in their eyes. they aren't upset at you. they are just hungry and want to see if you fit in their mouths. and if you don't then it's no problem and everything is fine. and if you do then well i guess your fate is sealed but that's ok it's a beautiful animal

I pieced this quilt. The pattern is called Batty by Apples and Beavers. My friend Becky did the custom quilting. While the quilting was NOT cheap, it is incredible! It really brings the quilt to life! I could not be more thrilled! I’d love to know what you all think of it. The photos are Becky’s as I don’t have it back home yet. SPOOKTACULAR!!!

self isolating to cope is great until you look up one day and years have passed and you realise no one knew you when you were 18 or 19 or 20 or 21 and now they never will
the great thing about un-isolating yourself is that you can literally start making friends whenever you want, and most people will continue to do so through the rest of their lives. you will meet new people at 28 and 37 and 43 and 56 and 61 and 72 and 85 and 94 who will love you.
