Tater Tot Taco Pizza has the flavors of tacos and the crunch of tater tots on a pizza crust, which is the best of both worlds. Enjoy this tasty and hearty dish at a family dinner or game day get-together.
Ingredients: 1 pound ground beef. 1 packet taco seasoning mix. 1/2 cup water. 1 can 16 ounces refried beans. 1 can 8 ounces tomato sauce. 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese. 2 cups frozen tater tots. 1/2 cup diced tomatoes. 1/4 cup diced red onion. 1/4 cup sliced black olives. 1/4 cup sliced jalapeos optional. Sour cream and salsa for serving. Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 425F 220C. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and crumbled. Drain any excess grease. Add the taco seasoning mix and water to the cooked beef. Stir and simmer for a few minutes until the mixture thickens. Remove from heat. Spread the refried beans evenly over the pizza crust as the base layer. Next, spread the taco-seasoned ground beef mixture over the refried beans. Pour the tomato sauce over the beef layer. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the tomato sauce. Arrange the frozen tater tots evenly over the cheese layer. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy, and the cheese is bubbly and melted. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing. Top the cooked pizza with diced tomatoes, diced red onion, sliced black olives, and sliced jalapeos if you like it spicy. Serve slices of Tater Tot Taco Pizza with sour cream and salsa on the side. Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves for added flavor. Enjoy your delicious Tater Tot Taco Pizza!
