I've certainly been thinking about becoming transgender for years, but I knew it could upset my family.I took the step of telling them what I wanted to do, obviously going slowly so as not to make them uncomfortable. Although they rejected me at first, I decided to talk to them more about it and finally today they accepted my new gender.The way I've felt since I was 13... Now I can't help but remember his words, especially my older brother's...He was a role model for me in life; he always defended me when my father hit me or insulted me for silly things...Now I am happy to announce that I can finally be myself and show the world my true self.

I chose a name for myself and that is

"REN".
