you have fallen for AI before. even if you don’t believe you could ever fall for AI, you very more than likely have at this point. you have scrolled past an AI generated ad not realizing it was AI. you’ve seen a drawing online and thought “oh that looks cool,” not realizing it was not created a person. i’m not saying this to scare you, but i am saying it as a reminder that you are not immune to how realistic AI is becoming

i think another part of the problem is white people largely feel like their rights r being infringed upon when we “take” away (or just make them question) their ability to harm others due to race….someone asking u to be more considerate and unpack the ways u view the culture and people of a minority group feels hostile to u bc u see the “right” to participate in that violence as normal and natural…which is not like a fault of the individual at times bc im specifically speaking to western culture normalizing that kind of thought pattern but its the same thing of when black ppl tell white ppl to stop misusing aave and instead of reaching the conclusion that harm is being done for the sake of feeling good about having power (even if they dont realize it) and working to amend that…they flip out and list every reason y it shouldn’t matter and y they should continue to be allowed to do as they please bc xyz reason…..this race shit be whoopin yall asses fr

regardless of the discourse that award show was not live so i have no idea why they kept that part of that guy yelling the n word at a bunch of black ppl like idgaf about the disability thing why did they keep that in if it was not live, these same companies r quick to censor and cut the mics and remove clips of ppl tryna talk about ice or Palestine so i dont understand y that was kept in other than to humiliate black people…..
