and just like. that's not how shipping works. that's not what it is. bro. ur not Only allowed to ship if they do something in canon about it. that's not a red flag that's literally what shipping is. what happened to the good old days where you could pull up a fic of two characters from completely different series who had never interacted cause they're from Different Series but it was still treated as a reasonable concept. we've lost the meaning of the word shipping. its not What Exists In Canon Only it's exploring the idea of a dynamic. if anything it's More interesting to explore smth with limited canon?

idk I feel like that simple idea of Exploring A Dynamic has been lost and that's where sooo much of the Drama around it comes from? like the drama around 'bad' or 'problematic' shipping and suddenly everything has to be neat and tidy and Moral, the drama around what you're Allowed to ship and what's Evil and Weird and Problematic, the drama around the morality of exploring certain kinks or around certain nonstandard relationship dynamics... shipping as a concept seems to have become for some people (as above) just supporting a Canon, Established, Supported By The Creators dynamic and not just. you exploring a concept.

and its very apparent that a lot of things could have been better / made better if lifestealers and fans treated women like people. hannah being excluded from her own teammate betraying her, hannah receiving an excruciating amount of hate for locking of the end, leading to her to stop logging on (and sb being called cool in comparison), squiddo not feeling welcome on the server, jumper being silenced by her own former teammates

The list goes on and on like . if we want to get serious about making fan spaces (and the server!!!!!) more inclusive and safe that doc has to get made and sent directly to admins

I really wanted to portray zam as a lighthouse that's trying to save everyone from a storm, her hair mimicing waves. Her pose is very isolated but also *screaming* for comfort. He also got a little devil on his shoulder (Mapicc lmao)

Jumper only exists in Zam's light, to sort of dwell on the fact that she probably won't play much (and didn't play much) unless it's with Zam. It also makes her look like a mirage and i liked that visual.

Friendship tower has 4 people coming into it at the bottom, but – importantly – the roof is broken. Were the 4 nether stars always there, in the middle of the tower? Did they break the roof?
