Juwon didn’t know where to look at as Rubi came in closer and closer. His heart rate skipped a few beats as he felt like he was her pray and gosh he did miss the part where she had the capacity to drink him completely crazy, which she actually didn’t seem to lose touch with and in a way to show he was civil and an adult, he offered a shy small smile and a nod, as one should.

“More or less, yes. I am guessing you will be part of the team now that the company will be needing more hands on deck?” He kept smiling and did want to offer a few words on the lines of welcoming her in and how it has been long since he last saw the female, but he was afraid he would sound either like an hypocrite or downright rude, seeing he had been the one that had said that it was best they gave them some time. He was a fool. In love, over heels by the other, but too much of a wimp to take the pressure. He felt like as he was used to put in work first, that she could feel that and broke things off, not ever crossing his mind that due to her profession, she could always change to be closer to him as she was now. But again, even just mentioning this would be lying to himself. He knew that due to his family’s issues, he did had some fear of commitment and that was the biggest wall between them. Even now he was afraid to face her and the feelings and memories remaining within him and it scared him that she would be as open to have him back. What if he hurt her all over again? Rubi didn’t deserve such a thing.

When it comes to work the female knows how to be professional. However, that doesn’t mean her heart isn’t racing seeing Juwon. Didn’t matter to her or not if she had known he’d be here, seeing him is different. Being this close to a person after so long is awkward for her. Yet, she can’t let anyone see how hard this for her. After all, she’s known for keeping it cool and classy at all times. So, she will be an adult and work kindly with Juwon. 

"More or less, that is what is happening. I won’t be working this forever-- Just until we can get more people. I’ll be hiring more hands soon-- Once I do, I won’t be around as much as I am now.” She was in the process in hiring more hands on deck for what the company needed. Until she could do that, she would be working very close with Juwon. Which was hard for her, knowing it hard been ages since seeing him. The last conversation they had was Rubi returning the ring to the male. Now, she would be working with him for the time being. Shaking her head, she’s shaking the doubts from her mind. It was going to be okay, despite how things ended between them, Rubi doesn’t hate Juwon. Doesn’t hold any ill feelings against him. Truthfully, it was hard being around someone you still care for. Rubi who put feelings on the backburner for so long still was holding herself together. Turning to look at Juwon, much closer to him Rubi sees how much he has and hasn’t changed. Time might have been ticking the entire time but she felt stuck when she’s around Juwon. Memories of their happy times flood her mind each time she sees him. The good and bad, it didn’t matter all of it came to mind when she sees him. “We’ll be starting makeup soon.”

sure she knew it probably would have been easier to have just mentioned cami just once to him. but honestly devyn does a good job at blocking her out, so much so she sometimes even forgot about the females existence. hence why she was never mentioned until now. “i know i could have - but honestly i spent so long blocking out those things they’re so distant i kind of blocked her out entirely. it’s not something i think of ever when i meet anyone ‘hey by the way i have a shit sister i cut out’ “ she explains. she looks down when he explains that t surprised him it must of felt kinda shitty for him to learn such basic level information about her out of the blue, especially when he believed to know so much. as her hand is taken she looks up to him sadly feeling guilty. a weak smile on her lips when he promises to protect her from her sister, and that she won’t lose him to her. “thank you..” she said softly. she chuckles as he said that they could have sena be mean to the girl. “sena feels more like a sister to me then cami ever has.” she admits.

Juwon rested one hand over his eyes, to rub them as he screw them close and pushed his back against his seat. He had someone forgotten that the person that used to be his fiancé could still be crossing paths with him and that day seemed to be the day. He wasn’t a stranger to her form, the tone of voice and even the faint scent of perfume that seemed to meet his nostrils even if she was still afar, as much as those memories of them together should had been, but as the distance between the two within the vehicle on the way to his recital was reduced, the emotions and memories came in on a rush as well. What could come of this re-encounter? Would the other even notice him seating there waiting for the moment they to be on their journey? 

Everything felt like slow motion, walking up the vehicle and seeing him. Pleasant memories flooding her mind which each step she takes closer. Memories from the day they met, following several other ones that brought a smile to her face. Recalling the countless times she would do Juwon's makeup for him. Shaking her head, she purposely slowed down her pace wanting to take in the moment. Being exes who run in the same circle meant this would happen. They would be bond to see each other, have to spend time together. They're both adults can't they handle the situation as such? The woman didn't know, but she wasn't scared to face Juwon either. Sucking in one last deep breath of free Juwon air, she is closing the space between them. Flicking her long dark hair over her shoulder she was now very close to him. The closest she’s been to Juwon in a long time. Never being a fan of awkward silence she is the one to speak up first. “Did anyone tell you what the plan is the next couple of days?” She questioned, trying to be okay with seeing him after so long. 

devyn can’t help but to sigh as he mentions the comparison with his sister. but to her their sibling dynamic is different. “my sister is foul and has treated me terribly my whole life. she’s a big part of the reason i moved away when i was younger just to get the hell away from her.” she explains and runs her fingers through her hair. “it’s not that i don’t think i have to tell you about her - i don’t like thinking about her, talking about even remembering she exists okay.” her gaze is casted downwards when he tells her ho he feels like he’s missing out on part of her life. “cami made my life hell. she took all my things from me all the time, clothes, homework, make up just dumb shit that you would expect from sisters. but it didn’t stop there. she’d win all my friends over or bribe them with money, or steal my boyfriends. our parents liked her better because she fell perfectly into the role of a spoiled brat like them. i just like to forget about her, it’s easier for me.”

exhaustion etched upon her features as she waited for her friend to finish tending to mina, her body slouched slightly in bed as she rubbed her eyes trying to rid the tiredness. she didn’t know why she had been so tired as of late but her body simply could not keep up being a single mother. especially when mina was constantly up on a night. as miyoung wandered past, hana gestured for her to join her. they had been friends for a long time and she was very comfortable with her. opening up the covers, she silently offered for her to sit with her so they could keep warm. ‘ i just wanted to say that i’m really grateful for everything you have done. ’ she paused for a moment before leaning bac against the headboard. ‘ i know it’s not exactly ideal having a baby to tend to… but i was wondering if you wanted to move in permanently? ’ having another adult around to keep her company meant the world to her and they had such a laugh when they were chilling on an evening.

             she  was  glad  the  other  bring  up  any  topic  that  isador  would  like  to  avoid  as  long  as  their  friendship  lasts.   ‘   alright.  just  tell  me  what  to  do  if  you  need  any  help.   ’   she  told  eunjung  with  a  smile  on  her  face.  very  rare  to  see  but  comes  natural  when  she’s  with  her.   ‘   though,  i’m  sure  you  are  already  a  professional  at  this.   ’

’ excuse me what do you mean you haven’t told them about me lucky? ‘ he asked feeling the anger boil up inside of him enough so that he could just explode feeling hurt that the one person who he thought he loved would have the balls to say that they were dating especially to his friend then again youngchul kind of knew where the other male was coming from the need to keep everything private and under wraps especially given his royal status and the incredibly messy & very public way his parent broke up and the need to hide away his love life away from the limelight but none of that really matter in the moment as the prince was just so filled with such rage towards the other at the betrayal of sorts. ‘ f-fine go ahead explain yourself. ‘ he let out a soft sigh crossing his arms in front his chest as he could just himself get overwhelmed with angry the longer lucky spoke he just couldn’t believe that he hadn’t given his so called friends the heads up that they were dating and now some poor person has to suffer the embarrassment of this blind date the prince didn’t know weither to cry or laugh at this point. ‘ well it’s a little too late to say that lucky because i’m beyond livid now. ‘ he let out another soft sigh scooting away from the other on the couch they shared feeling that no matter what luck would say or do at this point would fix their current problem let alone the skinship he was attempting to do wouldn’t help either. youngchul was about ready to call it quits at this point feeling defeated at the circumstance he currently found himself in despite him not being the cost of it in the first place that was until the words came out of lucky’s mouth ‘ wait what did you just say lucky? ‘ he asked eyes widening as he spoke wanting to confirm what he just heard was true or not. ‘ y-you love me? ‘ 

shinwoo was never to show this output of emotions as he had a pretty good control of his emotions but it was almost like a heavy weight had been lifted off of his shoulder as he found himself in the embrace of seok somewhere he could feel safe and loved again especially with the hell of week he had prior to this. he’d always like shit after they had fought in the past so he couldn’t excuse himself at this point with the way he had acted towards his boyfriend then as he felt that it was always wrong to act out at someone even if you had a shit day that day especially if it’s to someone he had supposedly loved so he was glad that seok had initiated the reconciliation of their relationship as who knows what would have happened between these two if not. hugging the other male tightly towards his body tears falling endlessly down his cheek as there was nothing better than to clear his mind and warm his cold heart back up again than to be with seok to be near him again especially after what seems like a lifetime apart so to speak and the fighting creating a barrier between them but now that barrier has broken down as they are together again as they should be in each other’s embrace ‘ no seok you don’t need to apologize it’s all my fault. ‘ he said thru tears not wanting the other male to blame himself for the mess they found themselves in as shinwoo felt as though he was cause of with him ignoring the latter due to work & school ‘ i-i’m sorry seok. ‘ he said wiping away his tears a small smile soon forming onto his lips nodding his head slightly at the other’s words. ‘ yes forever and always. ‘

“Same boat?” Yejin asks, and she’s both relieved that her mistake didn’t turn out too poorly and surprised because that’s the last thing she would have expected to hear. “Oh, did you just return from a vacation?” Her shoulders loosen up further as Harin concurs with the excitement. “I’d like that regardless! Since it’s my first time really living on my own, I want to make this place feel like a home.”

She takes another glance to look around at their surroundings, and her awe is so deep that she can almost forget about the entire reason why she’s standing on the balcony so early in the morning, to begin with. 

“Exactly,” she replies, and she scrunches her nose for a moment. “Last year, the view from my room was another dorm building’s trash bin. The year before that, it was just… A wall.” But she brightens up quickly after— it’s hard not to when the view is pleasant and the company is even moreso. At the mention of a ‘job,’ Yejin suddenly straightens up her posture. Right. She needs to head out soon, or else she’ll really be late. “I am! I’m— oh gosh, I’m so sorry but I need to leave soon— but yes I’m free this weekend. When is a good day for you? I’m not… Well, I’m not doing anything other than… Maybe decorating— so any day is good for me.”

Laughter escaped the woman as she nodded. A lot of people couldn't understand how it felt to be jetlagged all the time. Nodding she looked back at the woman standing at her own balcony. "Yes, with being jetlagged." Pausing she hummed softly to herself. "I'm a flight attendant so I'm always flying around. I think jetlagged is my middle name." She jokes, knowing that being in the air all the time meant going to different places. “Yes, making a place your own is important. I’m sure you’ll enjoy living here it’s nice.” 

The area was nice, people always came and went but the crime rate was low. So it meant you had the freedom to do things around here. She was sure the newly moved in tenant would like her place. Her number one reason for moving here, the view was the best one around. She loved being able to see the different settings and scene unfold around her.

          ‘  uhh…  no.  ’   she  unconsciously  touched  her  eye-patch.  never  liking  being  in  front  of  a  crowd.  especially  on  a  place  like  internet.  a  place  she  doesn’t  understand  at  all.   ‘  i’d  like  to  stay  behind  the  set  if  that’s  possible.  ’

the past few weeks had been really tough of shinwoo between balancing school and work causing him to stay copped up in his room all day leading him to ignore the one person he wasn’t supposed to seok and one thing lead to another they began to start fighting over the smallest things like the dirty dishes in the sink or the equally dirty clothes all over the floor. it clear to the both of that they had forgotten the reason why the moved out to city in the first place and why they loved each other but shinwoo just didn’t know how to end this endless cycle of fighting over the stupidest things especially with his fully paced scheduled and he was scared that he’d loose seok forever if things keep going the way they are right now. by chance things seemed to change but obviously the vampire didn’t know that as today seemed like any other day with long hours at work & school he came back home tired beyond belief when he spotted the cute plushie on the table looking around to see if the other male was home already ‘ seok? ‘ spotting the other as they popped out of the kitchen with the said food sitting on the dining table. picking up the plushie off of the table hugging it tightly before walking over to the other male and hugging him tightly with his free hand ‘ i-i’m sorry seok yes of course i’ll be here for you i love you. ‘ he pretty much whispered thru the tears trailing down his face.
