um i just feel like the fandom should know that cazador's concept art references tony thornburg because i used to spend too much time obsessing over male models so this knowledge cannot go to waste
in my head CAZADOR has TONY THORNBURG'S FACE okay!!!! look at him he is cazador and it's canon no one can tell me otherwise

trans people shouldnât have to look cis to be respected
the comments on this are gross yâall clearly dont understand how this works. transitioning is not that easy nor is it affordable. and it is a transition aka itâs not instantaneous aka it takes time. years and years, in fact, to get to the point where you could pass for cis and even then some people may never fully pass. surgery is expensive and getting medical treatment is a nightmare in and of itself. some people canât fully transition or pass for various reason such as age, health, money, location, family, not being completely out, body type, etc. and they are still worthy of respect and dignity. so yeah, passing may be âthe goalâ but if you only respect trans people when they pass, news flash: youâre trash.Â

Me throughout the entirety of Wonder Woman
Hugh Jackman in Logan (James Mangold, 2017)
This place was a shelter.
I have several ideas on what kind of prison Percival would be kept in and I keep thinking about some sort of icy underwater place. I like to imagine Grindelwald being a water based wizard as Dumbledore clearly had a thing for fire. So ice cold winter water and shadows in the deep are ideas I like to play with regarding the things Percival had to fight or place he was kept.
Previous Percival vs water pic.

do older generations not get fatalistic humor?? like the other day my friendâs parents were hanging around and we were joking and i was like âwell no matter what i can always fling myself off the nearest cliffâ and they didnât laugh then later the mom pulled me aside and was like âmaybe you should get some help, sweetieâ like stfu?? help? in this economy? i donât think so, debra
I honestly donât think they get it as a coping mechanism, they think itâs a cry for help rather than actually helping.
iâd even say itâs past just coping and is also now a category of Stuff Kids Got Used To When No One Was Looking; not everyone using that humor is even covering up something bigger, we just stopped thinking fatalistic = taboo/unspeakable somewhere along the line, and most parents donât seem to know why or how ~
My boss opened a door and missed me by inches, he said âwhoops, almost killed you there!â My result of âOh, if only.â Led to an awkward end of shift debrief.
This generation shares the same humor as the goddamn Addams Family and the previous generation is the White Sixties Family⢠that lives next door and runs away screaming at the end of the episode
I will say that itâs interesting because this kind of humor is very, very prevalent somewhere elseâŚ
the military.
Which is honestly a place you would expect fatalistic humor to be common and used as a coping method. Youâre one âoopsâ away from death on the flight deck, one inch to the left and you donât have a head anymore because the jet that just landed now owns it as a wing-tip decoration. So you joke about it because lowkey youâre fucking terrified itâll happen, but youâre also desensitized to the danger itself because you face it every single day for 12 hours at a time.
Anyway so we all know the mindset you adopt in the military because of the danger, so to realise that an identical sense of humor has been adopted by normal people should probably tell you something very important about the amount of stress modern young folks experience in daily life.
Iâm not sure fatalistic humour is as much a generationally divided thing as it is a culturally divided thing. I mean, someone already mentioned The Addams Family here. That was super popular with not just the generation that watched the movies, but the generation before that, that watched the TV show, and the generation before that, that read the comic strip. Also, I come from a very Irish family and I can tell you that Irish humour generally tends to be incredibly fatalistic. Also, a lot of Jewish humour. In fact, the humour of oppressed peoples generally, tends to go pretty dark and fatalistic. For many of the same reasons the person above was mentioning about military humour. The final note Iâll make is that he specific examples above of people not getting fatalistic humour are both authority figures of some sort. A boss and a friendâs parents. Authority figures generally tend not to react well to fatalistic humour. Possibly because it can be indicative of some perceived failure on their part.
My heart....I just finished soft epilogue, and I can't even....
shhh no tears only sweet gravebone dreams now <3
Every time La La Land doesnât win an Oscar.Â
NOW THAT LA LA LAND WAS MISTAKEN FOR BEST PICTURE, THIS IS EVEN MORE HILARIOUS I AM CACKLING!
for real though can we talk about how cute it is when writers keep what happened to graves and his injuries the same throughout their fics even if they're in completely different universes
