Black Rites in the Black Nights by Vreid. It’s soothing. Perfect for when you want to stay in your car instead of banging all the other cars who are unfortunately stuck with you in the same traffic, with a tire iron.

Grey Garden by Windhand. For when you have that picnic. You lay on the grass because you forgot to bring a mat. And the smell of grass is amazing, almost lull you to sleep. Grass grass, not grass grass.

Nuit Noire by Sinsaenum. It means black night? dark night? Because I’d like to use this or my 4-year-old daughter’s lullaby.

Or that lady you know at work or school or whatever, who can't stop complaining about everything it makes you wonder why hasn't she kill herself if everything is so wrong in her sad, victimized life.

Angrboda by Wolves in the Throne Room. Makes marching towards the wall a party for the wights and the whitewalkers.

Nimble Bastard by Incubus. This is such a feel good song. Also, everyone and their cats love Brandon Boyd. 

Clean the Beast by Junius. Like when you’re at a satanist circle with all your robes and all the chants memorized but you forgot to bring the virgin.

Ain’t Much Loving by Nergal. I mean Me and That Man. There’s an ain’t in the title. He called for his mama like Freddie Mercury.

Gods Go First by Omnium Gatherum. Calming. For when your car breaks down and you’re an inch away from pummeling that tow truck guy with a fire extinguisher.

Devouring Faith by Krisiun. For those sleepy late evening Monday meetings. The entrails made you wonder when was the last time you ate sausage. The correct and only answer is, too goddamn long ago.

Seriously, I felt like Johan Hegg’s vocal is wasted on this. Listened til the end with gritted teeth. Cringe. So I’m going to ruin your already slow Saturday too.
