While it’s fantastic and freeing while out on your adventures, I’d like to remind you that it is not only ok to take a rest during them, but encouraged!
So, take a second today to:
- Stretch (if you are able to comfortably do so)
- Drink some water! And if you’ve been sweating and only drinking water, drink something with electrolytes in them!
- Sit down/ lay down in a cozy area and listen to the wildlife around you. Maybe you’ll hear a lot of cicadas, perhaps something else. Maybe even make a game out of what all you can hear.
- Take a little cat nap if you’re in need of one. If you think you’re likely to fall into a full blown sleep and you don’t want to do so, make sure to set an alarm!
