         "Oh! Hello. You're in the infirmary, currently. Where're you trying to be?"

         "Well, there's gotta be some reason they called you in, right? How long've you been waiting?"

         "Of course."

         "Right. Well, I'm sure you'll find out soon enough. Then that problem will be solved, at least."

         "Not a problem. Just wondering if you needed something?"

         "Angela Johnson...Right. She's still here, you're right. Right this way."

     ”Sorry about this,” Tony said, scooping up the papers and cradling them at his side. “I know it can sometimes be inconvenient for people, Dr …?”

         "There's no need to apologize. We all have our little idiosyncrasies." Fran smiled at him. "Warner. Francesca Warner."

"Well, if you could help me, that’d be perfect. I’d rather not get lost again in here."

         "'Course. One sec." She shed her white coat and stethoscope, stashing them in a drawer and nodding to one of the other medical personnel so they knew she was heading off. "Never got your name."

         "What's their name? I can direct you to their bed, if they haven't checked out."

          Tony frowned and looked down, feeling slightly ashamed of himself as he rubbed the back of his neck. “Would you mind setting them down?” He asked, not unkindly. “I have a … thing … about people handing me stuff.”

         Fran didn't miss a beat as she nodded. "Yeah, sure." With that she set the papers down on the nearest surface, which wound up being a cart with some vials on it as well.

    “Thank you, I was hoping you’d say that— I’m Natasha Stark.”

         "No problem. Nice to meet you, Ms. Stark. I'm Francesca Warner, but most people just call me Fran. Much easier to say."

         "We have paper cups and water in here, but I'm assuming that's not what you meant. There's a Keurig in the break room."

          “Well, I’m not dead yet, so I’m counting that as a win. Heart’s still ticking, brain’s still thinking, nothing’s too twitchy … I’m still getting headaches, but that’s normal.”

         "Not dead yet is generally good. They're not any worse or anything?" She rifled through a file cabinet and produced a file, withdrew some papers from it, and put everything else back. "Here you are!" And with that she handed him the papers.

"So, it’s normal?"

         "Totally normal."

       ”Just hear to pick up the files from the last physical I had.”

         "'Course. Give me one minute to go grab those for you. Everything doing fine since the last time you were here?"
