Susan Sarandon shutting it down. “I have nothing good to say about Woody Allen.”
Woody Allen is a sexual predator who at best seduced his 17-year old step-daughter and at worst molested his child.
What he did is wrong and working with him means you condone his behavior and would rather side with an accused predator than the victim of a sex crime.
Disgusting.
Journalist: “Woody Allen was asked in his press conference a few days ago if he would consider a love story between an older woman and a younger man. And he responded by saying it was a valid comic idea, but he didn’t have any material to draw from.”
Sarandon: “That’s true.”
[audience laughter]
Sarandon: “I have nothing good to say about Woody Allen, so I don’t think we should go there.”
Journalist: “More the reason perhaps to comment on the question.”
Sarandon: “No, I think that he sexually assaulted a child, and I don’t think that’s right. And there’s a lot of information. The room has gotten very quiet, but that’s true. Um, what was your other question?”
