Today I visited our newest National Park, White Sands. The drive down from Santa Fe was a little long but I arrived just in time for about a hour on the dunes before the real show - sunset. I didn’t edit any of these pics, the colors are exactly how they were. This was one of the most awe inspiring natural places I’ve ever visited. I hope to spend a little more time there tomorrow. I stepped into The House Of Eternal Return knowing nothing. This was a movie come to life, an escape room with no escape, the most interactive art experience I’ve ever seen. What’s even more interesting is George RR Martin (yes that one) is responsible for making it happen, he funded the place. Plan the trip, take the dive, this story of a house in a secure government facility that’s become a uncontrollable portal generator to other dimensions needs to be experienced. Drove across the middle of the big island today. Mauna Kea on one side and Mauna Loa on the other. Hilo was home to waterfalls and lots of green.
